Its our June Team Scrimpy's Blog Hop
I chose to showcase the beautiful Ornate Garden
I have used the DSP, The Stamp and Die to creat this Regal and Elegant Card that is suitable for almost any occasion.
I used a Whisper White Card Base A6
I then chopped down my ornate garden DSP to 14.2cm x 10cm
using the Rose Border Die I ran it through my die cutter to give me the gorgeous cut out
I then added a strip of Gold Foil to the back of it (it was a scrap) but about 4cm x 14.2cm
I then stuck them to my card base using Liquid Glue
I grabbed a scrap of Mint Macarom from my scrap drawer
I have a number of these drawers beside me they are fantastic and I have a scrap drawer for each colour family so it is easy to go there before cutting down a full sheet.
I got them from Ebay you can buy them in 2,3,4,6 drawer sets
I have a few various ones and will be purchasing more very soon as they are great for so many things.
Anyway back to my card.
I used the Thank you Stamp but I have chopped it down to two words so I can get more use from it and also means I can stamp them together top and bottom rather than side by side.
I stamped on to my mint macaron scrap using versamark ink pad
and added our gold embossing powder then heat it up to melt the powder giving you a gorgeous sentiment.
I added the gold foil card behind my sentiment and trimmed it leaving a 1/8" border.
Then that was popped up on dimensionals to give a little height and we are done.
Regal & Elegant and Easy
Hope you enjoyed this and please do have go.
Pop over to my team mates blog next and enjoy the showcase of our newly launched Annual Catalogue.
