Everything is Rosy Facebook Live Class 28th May 2019

Yesterday I hosted a facebook live class and made 3 cards using the Everything is Rosy Medley

They are all so pretty 2 are using just the basics from the medley as when your supplies of embellishments and things run out you still want to be able to use your medley and make beautiful cards still.

First Card

This was my sample card using the very elegant Night of Navy
I firstly die cut the edge die using night of navy cardstock.
I adhered that down on the inside edge of the card and then placed an insert over it to cover the glued edge, once I done that I snipped the front of the card in line with the edge die then trimmed off the rest so it was straight, this then allows the beautiful die cut to shine.
I used the 2nd largest stitched shape die to cut out the night of navy circle and then took some whisper white card stock and punched out a circle using the 2" circle punch.
I then took a selection of pre stamped and cut flowers and flourishes to make the flower clusters and embellished with some Basic Rhinestones x
for the one I did on Camera it was exactly the same except I substituted the night of navy for the melon mambo which gave a very different feel it is more cheery and happy looking.

I love both and could be used for any occasion.

Second Card

This was my sample and it turned out beautiful (I love the night of navy monochrome it is such an elegant and regal look)
So I took a card base, 14.3cm x 10cm in whisper white and using my night of navy ink pad, I stamped the flourish all over using first and second generation stamping, (Stamping your stamp straight from the ink pad is first generation and restamping without reinking from the ink pad is known as second generation, and doing it again with no reinking is third generation and so on, it just gives you lighter tones of the same colour)
I then chopped down a bit of Night of Navy to 12.3cm x 8 cm
Whisper White I chopped down to 7.5cm x 11.8cm and stuck them together using liquid glue,
I then got a bit of whisper white for my sentiment, 7.5cm x 3cm and using my night of navy ink I stamped the sentiment.
I then took two small strips of night of navy (check your scraps for these) measuring 7.5cm and enough width for your to adhere it to the back of the sentiment panel and show a tiny bit of a border on the front. once you have donw that I then adhered the ribbon again 7.5cm and adhered it to the sentiment panel with a bit showing on the front, such an easy step but so effective. I then popped up my sentiment panel using dimensionals, and again using pre stamped and cut flowers and flourishes I decorated the card and finished it off with some basic rhinestones.

Again the card I done in the video is exactly the same but changed the colour to melon mambo.

Card Three

I did two samples for this card and the one on film was using the Rose Gold Paint WOW

So I Cut my stamping panel to 14.3cm x 10cm
my topper main feature panel is
10.8cm x 6.5cm (in whatever colour you want I will explain using Rose Gold)
In the Rose Gold Foil Paper
Then cut your DSP Layer to
9.8cm x 5.5cm
the stamping area at the bottom of that panel measures
9.8cm x 3.5cm
I then Stamped my sentiment, given that I didnt have any rose gold ink pads I chose to stamp the sentiment using a second generation Melon Mambo
I took the larger Stamping panel and with working out roughly where my feature panel was going I stamped out three flowers using the rose gold shimmer paint, it is not going to give you a crisp and even stamp but it is good enough to work out I then added a small flower from the bloom to bloom punch set to the centers just using liquid glue.
I wrapped around some of the ruched ribbon and tied a knot at the front and cut neatly
I then popped panel up on dimensionals
and then decorated using some flowers and flourishes I had pre-done.
and then added some basic rhinestones to complete this card.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards for more ideas please see my post from a few days ago giving you SO many different layouts using this medley.

Thanks for spending time with me x
