Stamping Up With Karamia - Team Scrimpy Blog Hop

Today I have made a card using the amazing Painted Poppies Stamp Set
and Paired it with the Bright Ink Colour's
Coastal Cabana
Melon Mambo
Gorgeous Grape
They are so colourful and happy
These were also part of a colour challenge on one of my groups in Facebook
this group is full of fun challenges and loads of inspiration
I just love being part of it so please click the above link and join the fun.
This card is made using a very basic layout using no dies so easy for people with limited supplies.

Base Layer is Thick Whisper White Standard A6
Matt Layer Gorgeous Grape 10cm x 14.2cm
Stamping Layer - Whisper White 8.2cm x 13cm
Sentiment Layer - Whisper White 13cm x 5cm

I used the Large Splodge Shaped Stamp and randomly stamped using the three colours above
I then used the Larger Poppy Outline Stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento over the splodges not worrying about lining up as I wanted a very loose impressionism effect.
I then took my Sentiment Layer and with the Smaller Outline Poppy Stamp I stamped in alternative corners as a frame like effect.
I then watercoloured using my inkpad (Melon Mambo) and my aqua painter
I then chose a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set,
Again with my Tuxedo Black Memento I stamped the sentiment in the centre of the layer
then just to keep in line with my impressionism idea I used my Stampin Write Markers I have the full shabang with my markers I got them with a very large order and got 50% off so I have now just buy the in colour sets to keep my full set but you can buy them with just the set colour families which is an easier way to build your collection slowly.

I spritzed the card using the markers
its an easy technique that anyone can do basically use the lid of the marker and flick the nib
gives it a splatter effect which I love.

Please now HOP along and see my other fabulous team mates projects which are linked below x

Enjoy
